Both divisions in LMS have been updated from “Startup Test” to a live current status. FargoRates will be updated to reflect the last 4 weeks of play after midnight today. Then FargoRate will update every 24 hours thereafter. Stats from last week matches will be entered tomorrow.

Reminder to Captains—Be careful in making sure scoresheets match at end of match—verifying that all BR’s and TR’s are entered. Corrections cannot be made after 24 hrs of entry.

Although there are no changes for the current league year, we want you to understand the transition in 2020 and beyond. BCA Pool League Membership Period Transition - 2020 & Beyond
Aug. 24, 2018 - We recently announced that starting in 2020, the BCA Pool League World Championships in Las Vegas will no longer be held in July. Member feedback has consistently showed a strong preference for an earlier time of year. Therefore, the 2020, 2021 & 2022 events will be held in March and the 2023, 2024 & 2025 events will be held in February. We are confident this change will attract more players to local leagues and the annual Las Vegas championship event.
Since the event is moving to an earlier time of year, we also considered changing the membership period (i.e. league year) to a calendar year basis (January-to-December). However, after receiving feedback from League Operators, it became clear that changing to a calendar year would present difficulties for many leagues. Therefore, the membership period is not changing.
The membership period will remain the same (June 1 – May 31) in 2019 and beyond. However, the time frame in which players must accumulate their “weeks played” to become eligible for the 2020 BCA Pool League World Championships and beyond will be from the previous CALENDAR YEAR. Aug. 6, 2018 - The BCA Pool League (BCAPL) is pleased to announce that effective immediately, league members will no longer be required to pay an annual BCAPL membership fee for each league they join. Stats are live and current for both Divisions! We are really excited about LMS! It was a tedious transition learning the new system. However I think you will really like it. There are definite changes to what we’re used to BUT there is so much more information that we’ve never had before—-such as detailed statistics on teams/individuals per match and even original scoresheets are available to view. Go to your Division Stats, follow instructions and ENJOY!

We will be having our Fall Season’s Captains Meeting at Slim’s at 2:00 pm on Sunday August 19, 2018! Captains, PLEASE make sure you or your representative is there! We have a lot of stuff to go over with the new League Management System that we are using now.
Also, we start play on Thursday August 23, 2018. Play begins at 7:00 pm as us usual.

The End of Season Payout will be at Slim's Pool Palace on Saturday June 23, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. Immediately following Payout, we will be having our Post Season Tournament. It will be a Handicapped 8 Ball Races to are based on winning percentage from Spring Season. All future league and tournament play will be uploaded to Fargo Rate. Las Vegas Tournament
Hello APL Players!
Just a friendly reminder that the season is winding down. Please remember that you must have played a minimum of 8 weeks in EITHER the Spring OR Fall seasons. Also, you must have your 8 weeks played no later than May 31, 2018. That is due to BCA’s year end, not our season’s end!!! You CANNOT combine the seasons for qualification to play in Vegas. Hope to see a lot of Amarillo players attend the Tournament this year!!

APL POOL CAPTIANS
This is a reminder that if a player does not pay their $10, they do not play. If they do play, their score WILL NOT BE COUNTED. We have a no pay no play rule. Also, when the match is over, please ensure that the envelope has the correct amount of money in it ($10 each player plus any additional) and that both scoresheets are signed and placed in it. Fill out the front of the envelope appropriately, and then SEAL the envelope. BOTH captains must initial on the back flap, letting APL know that both captains are in agreements as to what is sealed inside the envelope.

All APL Players!
If you were trying to get your players qualified to go to Las Vegas for the National Tournament, to qualify for Vegas, you must have at least eight (8) weeks played in a Single Season . So, you must qualify in our fall or spring season. You CANNOT combine the two seasons to make your 8 weeks. Good luck!!!

Rescheduled matches
Just a Reminder,
Attention all team captains and co-captains the league coordinator must be notified of all rescheduled matches! There are no exceptions to this rule!
League guidelines rule #8 states:
The opposing team captain must be notified no later than 5 p.m. The day of the match if a postponement is necessary. The league coordinator must also be notified at the time of the postponement and the date of the rescheduled match.
Captains, please ensure that this guideline is being followed!
Match Play Requirements
It is the responsibility of the home team to ensure the visiting team players have access to one of the tables that will be used for the match for practice before the match begins. Please remember that this League was founded on the principles of Good Sportsmanship of all people involved.

Game Times
All matches should start at 7:00 p.m. If there is a problem with an opponent (i.e., team or player no show) contact the League Coordinator by 7:15 p.m. Forfeit time is 7:30 p.m. for a team that has no showed.
