Ok, the schedule has been corrected online and in LMS. Please remember to correct the hard copy you received today. (Nov. 28 match on schedule will be played on Nov. 21, 2019. We will not play Nov 28–Thanksgiving Day.)

New Season Starting!

READY...SET...GO

Fall Season start date—Thurs, Aug 15. Captains Meeting—this coming Sun, Aug 11 at 2pm at Slims. All Captains or a designee are encouraged to be there. Players are certainly welcome to attend also.

We’ve “mixed it up” a little and created 3 Divisions—A-1, A-2, and B. We can explain division criteria at Captains Meeting. We will play 15 weeks, playing each team 3 times.

Season end date—Dec 5 with 2 weeks off for all teams.

Division team stats and schedules will be posted to the Web in the next few days. I’ll let you know when they’re up and available to view.

2019 Fall Season

Rosters are due this Sat, Aug 3. We Only have 2-A and 7-B already in. You can turn in your rosters on this website

The exact start date will be determined by # of teams—will post season details and Capt Mtg as soon as Divisions are finalized.

Post Season Tournament

We would like to thank everyone for a great season, and for those who played in our post season tournament. We had an excellent turnout this year with 32 total players. Congratulations to everyone. 1st thru 4th were:

REMINDERS

Time flies when you’re having fun and our Spring Season is quickly coming to a close. We have 5 weeks left however only 4 weeks to qualify for Nationals in July since 8 weeks of play must be completed by May 31, 2019. So set your rosters accordingly and get everyone qualified.

Nationals will be moving to March starting next year-2020. Qualification timeframe will now be based on a calendar year (Jan-Dec). SO——-if you played 8 weeks this Spring Season 2019, you are already qualified for Nationals 2020. If not——you’ll have opportunity in the Fall Season 2019.

For teams and individuals going to Nationals this year in July, entries are due by June 3, 2019. Players must be a current BCA member at the time of submitting entry. It will be to your advantage to submit entries by May 31, 2019 in order for your BCA membership (Sanctions Fee) to still be current. Entries received June 1 and after will require payment of new membership Fee.

ATTENTION DIVISION B

Skooterz-Jim will have a new home at Broken Spoke effective this week. LMS, Stats and the schedule on the Web have been updated to show the correct location. However, Captains will need to manually correct the hard copy of the schedule in your Score Books.

2019 SPRING Season will start this coming Thursday, Jan 10. Captains Meeting will be tomorrow at 2PM at Slims. Schedules and Projected Payouts are posted now.

You can check rosters for accuracy by clicking “Stats”. For Division B, select the highlighted

“2019 SPRING Division A”, then scroll down for the appropriate division.

ATTENTION! Stats updated!

Both divisions in LMS have been updated from “Startup Test” to a live current status. FargoRates will be updated to reflect the last 4 weeks of play after midnight today. Then FargoRate will update every 24 hours thereafter. Stats from last week matches will be entered tomorrow. 

Thank you for your patience with this new LMS system.  

Also, 

Reminder to Captains—Be careful in making sure scoresheets match at end of match—verifying that all BR’s and TR’s are entered. Corrections cannot be made after 24 hrs of entry.

BCA Pool League Membership Period Transition - 2020 & Beyond


Aug. 24, 2018 - We recently announced that starting in 2020, the BCA Pool League World Championships in Las Vegas will no longer be held in July.  Member feedback has consistently showed a strong preference for an earlier time of year.  Therefore, the 2020, 2021 & 2022 events will be held in March and the 2023, 2024 & 2025 events will be held in February.  We are confident this change will attract more players to local leagues and the annual Las Vegas championship event.

Since the event is moving to an earlier time of year, we also considered changing the membership period (i.e. league year) to a calendar year basis (January-to-December).  However, after receiving feedback from League Operators, it became clear that changing to a calendar year would present difficulties for many leagues.  Therefore, the membership period is not changing.

The membership period will remain the same (June 1 – May 31) in 2019 and beyond.  However, the time frame in which players must accumulate their “weeks played” to become eligible for the 2020 BCA Pool League World Championships and beyond will be from the previous CALENDAR YEAR.  Click here to read the full press release.Read More...

BCA Pool League Membership Fee Change

Aug. 6, 2018 - The BCA Pool League (BCAPL) is pleased to announce that effective immediately, league members will no longer be required to pay an annual BCAPL membership fee for each league they join.  Each BCA Pool League member can play in as many leagues as he or she wishes with a single $15 annual membership fee.  Click here to read more...

WEBSITE UPDATE COMPLETE!

Stats are live and current for both Divisions!  We are really excited about LMS!  It was a tedious transition learning the new system. However I think you will really like it. There are definite changes to what we’re used to BUT there is so much more information that we’ve never had before—-such as detailed statistics on teams/individuals per match and even original scoresheets are available to view. Go to your Division Stats, follow instructions and ENJOY!

We will be having our Fall Season’s Captains Meeting at Slim’s at 2:00 pm on Sunday August 19, 2018!   Captains, PLEASE make sure you or your representative is there! We have a lot of stuff to go over with the new League Management System that we are using now.

Also,  we start play on Thursday August 23, 2018. Play begins at 7:00 pm as us usual.

REMINDER TO ALL APL PLAYERS

We will have Payout tomorrow at 11:30 a.m. at Slim’s!   Immediately following, will be the sign up for the Handicapped 8 Ball Singles Post Season Tournament.  Entry fee is $20.   The cut off to sign up for the Tournament will be at 12:15 Sharp!!  Play will begin at 12:30!  Come out get some dough and play pool with us!!  Everyone that played in the Spring Season is eligible for the Tournament!!
